A Good Friday Message
But He was wounded for our transgressions...

It is Good Friday today and I want you to reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus' death. He was crucified and put to death for the sins of you and I.
Let this day be the day where repentance is followed by forsaking of sins. Jesus has come to die for our sins. And if we are put to death alongside Him, how shall we that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
For you that need resurrender, you that need salvation, you that need to retrace your steps, His grace has been made available to you through His death.
Don't just celebrate the anniversary of His death, let it provoke repentance and Holy living. Meditate deeply on the victory that His death has given you over sins and hades.
How far deep have you gone in your transgressions? I'm glad to tell you today that His blood still works, still washes, still cleans and still makes whole. Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow by the virtue of His blood.
Today, make a decision to live for Him, to honour the sacrifice of His death and to spread this good news to everyone you can.
Say this Prayer with me:
Lord Jesus, thank You for the sacrifice of Your death for my sins on the cross of Calvary. Thank You for reconciling me back to God. Today, I pray that You help me walk in the sacredness of Your death and empower me to live a holy and righteous life. Let not your death be in vain over me and grant me the courage to spread the Good News to the world. Amen.
Happy Good Friday,
Sam Babajide.
